I took Ike, our dog, out for a walk though the weather was wet and blustery. I had seen a beautiful turning tree on Sunday and thought I could get back the next day to take some pictures, but continuous rainfall provided sparse chance. But I braved the elements and threats of downpour for these photos, though the tree in question was much more beautiful before.
Yes, my dog ate my breakfast. What that would be an excuse for, I am not sure. Not a particular surprise, considering. What is a surprise is that my wife left my breakfast out on the table and left without waking me, and believed the dog wouldn’t eat my breakfast. Maybe there is a better word other then surprise. (‘conspiracy’ comes to mind)
There were two successful bicycle related fund raisers recently. The Saris Gala in Madison, which included an auction with fanatical bidding, and the IMBA appreciation night at Ray’s Indoor MTB where they held a raffle. Don’t forget there is a slew of Metro Mountain Biker activities tomorrow. A great way to enjoy your Sweetest Day, a total manufacture ala the wonders of capitalism.
Ray’s wowed at the IMBA appreciation night. Not sure if they had a similar event in Cleveland but one could always jump on Frontier and fly out to ask. Good thing gasoline prices are dropping.
The $72 question: What are my three most favorite WORS races? Yes, we’ll keep with this question for awhile. Check out the Charity Jackpot Page link in the sidebar to possibly triple the amount.
