A Hunting We Will Go

Or not.
Just couldn't justify $100+ just for gas. Maybe I'll get out locally before the season is over. One of the first benefits I noticed after starting to bike regularly some years ago was the ability to clear brush and tromp around the forests and swamps of the North Woods all day. Must be something with the fresh air too because there's no way I'm able to walk around Milwaukee all the day through.
My wife picked up this bread maker for $6.99 at a thrift store. Every time the bread doesn't come out right she blames the machine. It's not that the small print made 3/4 look like 1/4 or that she forget to put the paddle back in after cleaning it. It's the machine.
Then she says, "I have to get revenge." That's what she says Japanese say when they fail at baking.
On whom is she inflicting her revenge? I ask myself. The failed attempts were dumped in the trash, but somehow she needs to compete with the machine.
Does it look like it cares?
